Canton is at the north edge of where we work. We take jobs here when we can run and service them properly, and we tell you on the first call if we cannot.
Canton sits on the Etowah River at the north end of the I-575 corridor, and its housing covers a wider range than most people expect. The historic downtown and old mill-village streets have small, older houses built with the materials and methods of their time. Newer subdivisions south and west of town look much more like Woodstock or Holly Springs, and rural lots on the outskirts are drawing people who want to build.
That range means two very different kinds of Canton job. An older in-town house needs the same approach as an old Marietta house: look behind the walls, check the wiring and framing, and price the real condition. A 2000s subdivision house usually needs builder-grade finishes replaced and an unfinished basement turned into living space.
We will not take a job we cannot service. If something needs attention after the work is finished, we want to get there quickly. For a small repair at the far side of Canton, a builder closer to you may be the better choice, and we will say so when you call.
Addresses inside Canton city limits are permitted by the city. Outside the city, Cherokee County handles permits. We confirm which applies before pricing.
