Cobb County · Home base
Kennesaw is home base. We have built and remodeled here for four decades, from the older streets near downtown to the subdivisions north of Barrett Parkway.
Kennesaw housing is really two towns. Close to downtown and the Main Street corridor, the houses are older and smaller, and remodeling them means finding out what previous owners did behind the walls. North and west, toward Barrett Parkway and out past Kennesaw State, most of the stock went up in the 1980s through the 2000s: two-stories with closed kitchens, builder-grade bathrooms, and basements left unfinished so the house could sell at a price.
Those later houses are now thirty and forty years old, which is exactly when the original shower pans, windows, decks, and cabinet boxes start to give out at once. A lot of our Kennesaw work begins as one repair and becomes a plan for the whole floor, because it is cheaper to open a wall once than three times.
Whether an address sits inside Kennesaw city limits or in unincorporated Cobb County can change which office reviews the plans and sends the inspector. Plenty of houses with a Kennesaw mailing address are not in the city at all. We confirm jurisdiction before we write the proposal, so the permit timeline in your schedule is the real one.
Because we work out of Kennesaw, we can get to a Kennesaw job the same day something needs attention: an inspector’s question, a delivery that showed up wrong, or a homeowner who wants to see the waterproofing before tile covers it. That is the practical reason we keep our work close to home.
